None of us are paid upfront, instead we’re investing time and talent to earn a percentage of the book’s net profit. Shares are paid out one year from the book’s pub date, and annually thereafter for as long as the book remains in print. Don’t expect to make a lot of money, better to expect little or less and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out we are successful.

Web Developer

Immediately available. Take our bare bones WordPress website, revamp and make it shine and do all the things grown-up websites do. Followed by smaller monthly updates. Fairly involved during the revamping, then kicking back to a few hours monthly for the next 9 or 10 months.

Social Media Maven

We have an immediate admin opening for someone Twitter and/or Instagram savvy to adapt our FaceBook posts to develop our presence on those. Fairly involved during the crowdfunding period, then kicking back to an hour or two monthly for the next 9 or 10 months.

Event Planner

Responsible for arranging the venue other considerations for a party and booksigning within our budget, to be held within a couple of months of the book coming off press in June. Short term project spread out over the 2018 spring and summer months.

Marketing Intern

Must be able to hit the ground running, have flexible hours, good research and communication skills, to take on small projects and assignments as they come up. Flexible hours and length. Independent study credit may be possible for business students.

Advance Sales

Candidate to research and develop leads among arts-friendly (and especially photography-friendly) individuals, businesses, and organizations during the crowdfunding period.
